This looks this looks like a pressed steel mass produced billhook. I would not touch these with a barge pole however...
You know, for £20 you can buy a new hand forged traditional Morris of Dunsford (Devon) billhoook that will last you a life time. It will keep a better edge, be easy to sharpen and will beat any small axe hands down anyday. Make a sheath for it, keep it wrapped up in an oily rag, sharpen it with a sythe stone for quicknes in the field and wowee you will never leave home without it again. I worked in the woods for years and this was the only model we would use!
