Apologies if this has already been mentioned. I have recently started reading the book Celebrating Birch produced by the North House Folk School. The book itself is good to read, not to mention there are many ideas for projects all with step-by-step photo guides. The school also looks a great place. If only I had the time and the money!

yep I have it too maybe not great but good and quite reasonably priced too. The various projects are more inspiration than instruction and whilst there are some nice photos I think it could have been better designed. North House Folk School looks quite an inspiring place.
A great book. I'm trying the woven knife sheath at the moment, practicing with strips of paper to try and get it right before committing to birch bark.
