Cast iron frying pans

Just been into TK Maxx in Reading and they have loads of cast iron frying pans for sale pretty cheap 8" = £6 and 10" = £8.

I picked up a skillet at IKEA for £5 a few months ago , have used it a lot both out in the feild and at home

I love cast iron pots and pans, but you can't beat a Tefal red spot frying pan, lighter, no need to season, you can use on a fire and they last well

Bought the 10" the other day from Tk maxx £8 something is in the oven now seasoning.

Same here. Ideal for a quick fry up but the old cast wins it for the long cook stew for me

I found a lovely cast iron one in a skip a few years ago, never been used.
Reading this thread has reminded me where it is.

I have a few cast iron pots and pans, and I love using them, it's a nice way of cooking, fairly non-stick, I just like the concept !
