Looking at saving for one of the coats above for next winter for hillwalking nights and stops

Any one got experience of either of the two above. I use buffalo on the move and don’t like down jackets struggled with keeping these dry.
 
I did own a MIG 4.0 for a bit before realising ( for me ) it was just too much and the rustling was doing my head in.

Buy one, ty it for a bit and send back
 
Rustling would be annoying for me as well. Hoping to drive to a shop an hour or so away when I get a day off and try them both.
Using a softie but want something warmer and the new Snugpak’s coats just don’t cut it in the fit and quality.
 
I have the Carinthia LIG4 which I find warm enough for the current UK winters with just a long sleeved T shirt. The LiG is also cheaper but without an insulated hood. The G-Loft material is the warmest to weight insulation I have ever experienced. Will take a shower without losing any heat. Highly recommended.
