If you have a climbing shop near you or a Decathon, go in and look at "quickdraws! These are a bit of climbing hardware that is a pair of good Krabs with a small tape sling in between. They cost about £6-£8 ish and look like this

I dont suppose that the tape you have is 1" tube tape, as I am after some and can only find it in 10M lengths for the coulour that I want (green/brown/black). I am after about 3M of it. Thought I would ask on the off chance.

I have just bought myself a couple of decent locking crabs from a climbing shop that are rated at 25Kn, as I wanted to be sure that they were going to be strong enough; better to spend the extra few quid on proper climbing ones rather than getting some cheap ones off the bay etc... Mine worked out at £6.50 each.

maddave i've got loads of quickdraws but i use them for climbing lol
