Canvas tarp, brass eyelets or loops?

I have made a tarp out of an old army pup tent, it is 7'x9'. I need attachment points so what to use, I have brass eyelets, or would I be better off making loops (25mm cotton webbing), that way I could peg through them or attach para cord for tying to trees.

All of mine are webbing, from the light nylon to the really heavy canvas one I had.

I do exactly as you suggest and peg straight through the loops
