Canvas pack alternatives ?

I had a look at the Duluth stuff whilst at Tamarack the other day, and whilst the quality is tops, i cant say i particularly like the type of woven canvas thats used. To me it looks like the stuff used in old 58 pattern army webbing.

I guess im after the kind of stuff that has the feel and appearance of Ventile, without actually being Ventile, if ya know what i mean

What other options are there for canvas packs ?
