The bedroll is 210cm / 82" long x 87cm / 34" wide. The enclosed space is increased by a 15cm / 6" pleated sidewall along the sides and foot. Weight without blanket is 3.8kg / 8lbs.
The interior is accessed by means of 2 x 150cm / 60" No.10 zips, covered externally and with internal cord pulls.
The base is externally treated with a double application of greenland wax and is lined full-width with medium weight cotton canvas fabric which forms a sleeve to accomodate various forms of ground insulation such as inflatable or foam mats, folded blanket or natural insulators. The lining/sleeve is accessed by folding back a flap at the head of the roll. This flap can form a pillow by having clothing stuffed under it and has been hemmed to form a small slip pocket at either side for the stowage of small personal items; headtorch, phone, keys etc.
The top of the roll has an extension in the form of a simple full widthflap which extends 50cm / 19" beyond the head of the roll and may be rigged to give added protection from the elements. This flap has 2 nylon D-rings for securing purposes. Similar D-rings are also fitted at both ends of the roll for pegging down and stowage.
