I wanted a wool shirt and bought a 'Pendleton' from Rokit.

The shirt itself is fine but it says 'dry clean only'.

Nobody mentionned this before (maybe I should have known:()

Anybody know if it is ok to wash them on the 'delicates' programme on the washing machine? Does it vary depending if it is a thicker type shirt or a thinner one?

Seems a bit expensive if they really do have to be dry cleaned after every use.

(The shirt is just about a perfect fit and any shrinkage would make it too small)

Had wool shirts for years. As Ed says, cool wool wash, don't spin and definitely don't tumble dry (line dry if you can). My Pendletons are still the same size as they were

I should add, use warm, not hot, water and a wool-friendly detergent like ecover wool wash. Drip dry outside if poss.
