I'm after a few carabiniers for my hammock suspension and I'm finding it a bit tricky as eBay is swamped with no-brand accessory carabiniers which are fine but won't take weight. Anyone found any before?
Cheers!

Try a soft shackle/dynema shackle. They are as strong as metal carabiners but only weigh a few grams. You can pick them up on any of hammock sites such as dd hammocks or ukhammocks or even ebay. Tend to be priced around £5-7.

Needlesports pretty much always have good deals on the go.
Its worth noting that last time I was buying DMM quadcams from Cotswold I got them to pricematch with Needlesports so you can haggle the price down a bit even in the chains.

I just didn't want to spend the money on diesel to go to Keswick on things that I could buy in Carlisle.
