Can anyone help?

I recollect a thread where someone bought a german pack (maybe?) and removed the side pockets then reattached them to the front of the pack so it was similar to a frost river pack.
Ive searched the forum, picked a couple of brains and cant find the thread at all.
A link would be greatly appreciated if you do remember it

Sewin machine got one of those but ive also got hands

I can't sew properly...we'll no, that's a lie. I can sew on patches etc, but can't sew new pockets onto bags without a machine.
