I have enjoyed reading your articles and posts for quite a while now. Today I'm coming to you for help in the hope that there is someone out there who has some information that could help me and my group of friends. Over the past few months I have been taking walks in Epping forest with a few friends, but the local authority does not give permission to camp apparently. We are very keen on finding a bit of woodland where we could camp for a night or two. Is there any privately owned land around the London area that anyone knows about? We are a small group, very tidy and quiet so we wouldn't be a nuisance. If you know of such a place please let me know, it would be much appreciated.
