bought some brand new stuff for a family camping trip.
1., we got a 3 men tent from halfords http://www.halfords.com/motoring-travel/camping-caravanning/3-4-man-tents/aventura-3-man-dome-tent
it was just big enough for 2 adults and a 5 years old. on a week long camping trip we had rain every day and the tent stayed dry.
2., self inflating sleeping mats, also from halfords http://www.halfords.com/motoring-tr...air-beds/urban-escape-self-inflating-mattress
3 cm thickness was good enough and none of the 3 mats were loosing air.
3., a sleeping pod made by freedom trail http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/freedom...9UNeQO0xjcPZ9YVgCZ5sMaAudT8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds
it's basically a huge sleeping bag, very wide. for me it was perfect as it allowed me to wriggle a little bit in the bag. and it was warm enough.
