Calling all you botanists out there....

On a walk along the river and came upon a large patch of low, green ground cover as well as a single example of a much larger striped leaf. Any ideas about either of these plants?

and here is the solo plant.

I also found what I think is a racoon print. The print is next to a quarter for size comparison.

Only reason I ask is your location is showing as London and having an idea of what continent you're on will help with the ID

There are quite a few towns named london in the states,.......problem is, Jessy isn't very communicative

I think the gal is American 'cause she assumes we know about coons & quarters........she ain't the most talkative of girls so I wouldn't waste too much time here if you get my drift.
