Hi I would really like to go to bushmoot this year but have never been and I am very new to this sort of thing, any advice would be greatly
appreciated on what sort of basic equipment I would need, can I camp for several days? Just a quick easy guide would be great.
Thanks in anticipation
Kind regards Jeff

A tent, Sleep mat, sleeping bag, some sort of stove, mess kit, KFS, first aid kit, decent knife Mora are good. A tarp is always useful to sit / cook under when it rains. Spare clothes/boots, Rucksack to carry it all in. Water is not a problem, there are several standpipes throughout the woods. Food, you can carry 3 or 4 days worth in with you. and there is a Tescos and Lidl just a few miles away.
Hope this helps.

All of what CK said plus a chair to sit on. The novelty of of sitting around on the floor soon wears off and life is so much nicer when viewed sitting in a comfy chair.

If you're car camping then basically bring anything you want to ensure your comfort.

For further information have a look at the Bushmoot section on the forum as a fair few folks have asked the same or similar questions to you.

Also check out the Bushmoot website for further info plus to get your tickets :)

Big tarp and small tent (got that the wrong way round first time)

Amen to that - whilst the Moot is set for a dry part of the year, please remember that it is Wales and one or two days are bound to rain - huddling inside a small tent or under a tiny tarp gets old real quick.

Think of it as a camping holiday with learning opportunities, rather than a strict "Bushcraft camp".
