I was wandering would renting an airsoft site out for a bushcraft weekend be a viable option or would it be too messy and humanised?

I reckon you would be able to find or make a nice little corner for your self. do they tend to have arenas for the matches? might contain the disturbance a little and leave the fringes and barriers free of trampling.

Most sites I know of are rented from the land owner. You might do better contacting them directly.

H - the guy who runs Ground Zero is a nice enough chap. He should be able to help you out.

Not overly familiar with the sites over Southampton way though.

depends what day they run their games, most sites i know run most saturdays or sundays (sometimes both)
although the ones that do bi-monthly might be ok.
there will be 6mm's everywhere mind :D

tbh the majority of bb's used are not biodegradable, however there are a number of sites that will only allow the use of bio's on site.
there has been studies on their impact, i'll have to dig em out.

Mother and Father used to buy all my clothes from the Army & Navy shop.

Teachers weren't impressed when I turned up to school on my first day dressed as a Japanese admiral.
