5th to 7th June at the Walker Brow Woods site in Whaley Bridge.

The fee is £10 for all or part of this period. The fee helps with the significant lease for the 8 acre private site. We have a PayPal system set up for paying site fees here: http://www.peakinstruction.com/woodland.htm
We've had a few attendees in 2014 from this forum and the feedback seems to be good. A couple could not find the site on the last meet as they came last minute and had not contacted me and so had no directions sent to them - Booking is essential. Get in touch for the directions if needed, unless you know the area well, you will likely not find the camp.

As a special event this meet we shall have the following activities occurring:
Sat 6th - I'll have my archery range set up and a few compound bows available to try. Please feel free to bring your own bows for use on the range. My bows won't be out all day as I have other things to do but I'll do an hour or so morning and afternoon and you're welcome to a little coaching too. Why not bring a slingshot? NO GUNS OF ANY TYPE
Sun 7th - Matt from Eden Wild Food will be walking around our woodland and nearby countryside for us. Join him and learn about foraging and if the weather is kind we can even cook up some goodies later. Matt will be here for 10am and is staying until at least early afternoon.
Both activities are included in the meet fee.

Facilities:
Separate urinal and long drop toilet.
Parachute over main fire circle + log seats.
Some natural shelters already made.
Water butt (filter first!).
Plenty of room for social camping and also secluded spots.
Parking - Off road parking at the edge of the woods, 200m from the main camp area. Access track does allow for unloading at the camp area but vehicles must be moved back to car park after.

Basic rules:
Ground fires are fine - don't go nuts.
Collect your own wood and leave the existing piles for my business please.
Don't cut or fell any living trees.
Don't burn or use up the obvious stash of useful timber/forks/canes.
No guns, bows or other projectile weapons unless by specific permission.
