Hello mates,

I'm starting my interest for this whole bushcraft thing:) but I collect knives since i was a little boy.
In the last few years the terminology EDC (every day carry) appeared so i was wondering: Is there a Bushcraft edc?
I'm sure there are a few items that are absolutely needed for Bushcraft so show me yours, please!
Feel free to post pics of your gear;)

Cheers

EDC implies every day carry. If you're talking EDC in terms of out in the woods I guess yeah there are certain items that will pop up again and again, as above - paracord, fixed knife, etc etc.

Now if you're asking if any of us carry bushcrafty items as EDC, thats' another thing altogether! I used to have a small diameter firesteel on my keyring. While I had it it came in useful twice for lighting cigarettes when I didn't have a lighter. Here it is beside a normal steel,

I EDC a spyderco UKPK, too, and I guess a lot of bushcrafters will carry a pocket knife, but the spyderco isn't particularly bushcrafty. I do, sometimes, EDC my BRK Imp, heres a good shot of the size, tho' this one isn't mine.

or my Brusletto Balder,

I'm guessing a lot of people wear those paracord survival bracelets, but they seem more common stateside than over here.

And I use my titanium camp mug at home when I have a brew....

Interesting and relevant take on EDC
I have a small pouch that i always throw in my pack even when just going for a walk; its actually a modified Euro hike pouch for a KFS set it holds a small Opinel saw an Opinel Jardin folder and a fire steel I usually also have a steel mug, water container and a spoon with some cordage of some type.I have a Maxpedition pouch which I use when camping with a lot of items in it but the main ones are Victorinox Forester and a Cree torch and a tool bag with at least one fixed blade ,Bahco saw and sea to summit trowel
Obviously I swop things around depending on situation and anticipated need
