I did that course a couple of years ago. Great fun, nice big woods, loads of wildlife but it was quite entry-level. Great if you are just starting out.

They have a site just to the south of Oxford that they use for some of their courses - I did a flint knapping course with them there a couple of years ago. They seemed like a well organised, professional outfit, and are quite well priced (you also get fed till you burst), I would reccomend them to others.

Finally went for £72. Should have been £185 from Friday evening till Sunday evening. Someone got themselves a bargain. Anyone here perhaps?

They did indeed get a bargain! We offered up for free to raise money for Mountain Rescue through the Trail Magazine offers so the money goes direct to them... Thanks for the positive comments Aaron about the flint knapping... you never eat badly on a course!! Thanks to whomever bid and raised £72 for the volunteers who slog up hills to rescue others, I am sure we will meet soon
