Thanks for the heads up, just downloaded it onto the kindle. I've read the intro and first impressions are good. Having recently read the works of Nessmuk and Kephart, I think this will follow on very nicelly.

Not a bad book at all. It has much the same info as all the other intro bits written from Dave's perspective, which I like. If you follow his stuff already you won't find much new in there, but for 99p, it is worth having on the shelf.

It is much better than 'advanced bushcraft'- which I didn't really like. There was too much filler in that one and it felt like it was only being written because the first one was so popular.
