I made a wood/gas stove recently and It's not working. I can't really get a consistent flame going on the inside, it seemed to me that it just need more oxygen so I tried putting more airholes in the bottom, but that didn't help. I can't figure out what I have done wrong. Any idea what kind of mistakes can be made while making one of these? My seal between the inner and outer can aren't exactly air tight at the top where they connect together, I didn't think that would be a problem though, since the tutorials I used, used the same method (cutting slits before squeezing the inner can in). Any thoughts from people who have mastered this stove?

Pics are needed really Devon.

You need roughly a 3/1 air ratio; top holes to bottom holes for a stove without a fan. Too many variables to help without seeing what you have.
