What kind of saw blade did you use?

hi switch used a stihl saw blade mate, its just over 2mm thick. heres another photo with mustard and vinegar patina on.

How do you grind the blade? Is the blade still hardened or is it softened by heating it first?

What grade of steel are they?

yep one of the diamond ones, dont know what the steel is but its easy enough to work with. once i have shaped it and done the grind i heat it up to non magnetic quench it in veg oil then temper in the oven. they seem ok . all the best warren

I sometimes see ones on site that have lost their diamonds and are kaput, might pick one up next time.
