Again, I must emphasise that I have no practical experience of this. My understanding may be flawed, or even completely wrong.

We did this on the Woodsmoke woodlander course, it was great, the best thing was we were next to a clean and cold tarn that we jumped into after. This was like getting high in a completely new way ;) , my skin was ecstatic. I would recommend it!

Saunas are bleedin' marvelous. When I was living on the farm in Oz, there was a really nice sauna down by the ol' swimming hole - I tell you, there is nothing better for getting rid of the mank of a days work! Especially on a clear, star-spangled night - run down the steps lit by flaming torches, plunge into the cold water, and surface with an elemental whoop of pure joy beneath the myriad stars of the southern sky. Magic! :)

I have occasionally toyed with the idea of packing a spare dome tent (flysheet only) especially for the purpose...
