Bulbs springing up in the garden

Whilst weeding the garden at the weekend, I was surprised to see some of what seem to be my spring bulbs shooting up some leaves. Has anybody else seen this sort of thing? I wonder if they are going for a second flowering, or if they will just put some leaves up and then go dormant over the Winter. Aside from this, if I didn't know that the calendar was saying the middle of August, I'd be thinking that Autumn was starting, with all the hedgerow fruits appearing and some of the leaves starting to die off.

Good thought, but I don't remember Autumn crocus in the garden before, and some of them are definitely not crocus leaves.

There are some Autumn flowering bulbs out there, but ideally you need pictures or a description of those leaves.
