Seriously, it depends on how confident you are re-profiling the blade. It can be done on an angle grinder / belt sander to rough it out then finish with hand files but you'll need to be very careful not to get it too hot or you'll ruin the temper.
Alot of work, might be best just to replace it.

If it is just a few mm make it into a small chisel (I saw Mors Kochanski with one like that once).
Easiest way is to bring the spine down to the existing edge with a mill file or with a hand held silicon carbide stone. Draw the file or stone carefully towards the (vise held) knife edge. Takes very little time.
I'd try the tanto point (chisel point). Kochanski did the same thing and found he liked the "tanto tip" on his mora. You might as well.
