broken response pak

hey guys,

I recently purchased a snugpak response pak for travelling, and was dissappointed to see that the belt seam came apart on one of its first outings. I know it's not an expensive pack, but I hadn't expected this. Has anyone else experienced this? Now I've got two options, either I cut-off the belt and replace with a roll-pin type belt, or retire it to use as a medical kit bag. Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Thanks

Just to echo John's comments, the ResponsePaks can usually take a fair amount of abuse. If a return isn't an option then a repair would be fairly straightforward - they're not a complex pack by any means

I've had one for a couple of years and i'm very pleased with it, looks like you have got a friday afternoon model, like the others have said, send it back. Glyn

I've had mine for over a year and has been on 2 month-long backpacking trips and still going very strong. There's some paint coming off the zips but nothing else to note. As everyone else
is saying, return it as it should not have ripped.
