I was out teaching navigation to doctors on Saturday (don't ask)
During the course of this excersize I came accross two 6" diameter bracket fungus that looked like ones I had seen on this forum which were a type of tinder fungus.
I couldn't pick them as I was sheperding my charges
If you live in Birmingham feel free to grab them
Not sure exactly what species but they are in

about here on a 6" diameter birch.
