does any one have a beginners guide on making bows

If you're in the U.S. Bowstick Archery (www.Bowstick.com) has a nice selection of bows in various stages of completion - from basicly sticks to nearly finished bows. Nice way to learn by doing - and they have on-line instruction if you need it.

These four books are very good, the advice is very complete, they a rea very very interesting read and are on my book shelf : )

if you can afford them get them if not find some one to borrow them from.
