Bought powdered water flavor. How can I store it once open?

The packets I have are 250 grams. Never going to use a whole one on a trip and thought on the best way to store the powder?

I use CoolAid sachets quite a bit, I don't like the taste of plain water so I have to add flavour otherwise I'd dehydrate on long hikes.

Once the sachet is open I just fold over the top a few times and secure with a paper clip

Bung it in a ziplock bag and exclude as much air as you can when closing it.

You can get resealable plastic bags in all sizes from eBay or your local market. Klippits from the £-shop are good for re-sealing the original bag.

How about using a 35mm film, plastic container to take what you need with you, and leave the rest at home in the fridge. Hope this helps.

you can make individual portion sachets from drinking straws

nip the end in pliers so the end is protruding and burn with a lighter to seal the end, then pour in the powder, trim to size and then repeat the pliers and burning, then tou have airtight individual portions just cut and pour
