I wish they wouldn't put the plastic washers on the handles though, they are usually the ones that crack then break and after that the handle rattles.
Well, that's what's happened with the hammers I've had anyway. The leather washers last better.
Eventually I'll put fresh leather washers on the ones I have.
Picard hammers of the same style (leather washer grips) have Allen bolts that you can tighten up on the ends so I assume they are simpler to repair when the washers go.
