Boot sale bargain

Got this at the local bootsale this morning.
Its stamped Sheffield 1946 with a WD arrow head.
Identical to one my dad gave me when I was around 10 (a very long time ago) and I very quickly lost.

Not bad for £2.50

Very nice indeed! That is a bargain, and more importantly, a lovely piece of history.

You must have decent bootsales near you. All I get at mine is Poles and Lithuanians trying to flog stuff thats either came straight from skips or charity shops

I have one of these, think I paid about £6 for mine. Bloody good knife to be fair. The cellulose (I think) scales have shrunk on mine though

I had much the same knife as a kid but with PO stamped on it. My father was a telephone engineer!
