Has anyone read the Sam Gribley books by Jean Craighead George.

They are very good books and have some very good bushcrafty ides in them.

There are 3 books in total:

My side of the mountain
On the other side of the mountain
Frightful's mountain

I find that the first book is the best but the other two are still good.

I read My side of the mountain, and saw the film when I was a kid. Never knew there where 2 sequels! something to dig out.

MSOTM is an excellent book - probably got me started down the path of bushcraft.
