Blagged an old Digital Compass

Cadged this off my Dad today. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about em. I cant seem to find anything on the net concerning this model

It's a wayfinder Numeric, Thats all i know, I don't have a manual or anything.

looks like something that would be mounted in a boat.

It seems to work ok, Just can't figure out what the set buttons for, And why it's got Williams f1 on it

It's probably a car accessory with the F1 badge, just shows the direction of travel I think
