Twodogs, not sure about the newer versions, I ahem 'aquired' mine from stores. A friend bought his one from Jasper and it was the older gore-tex job.

TBH I wasn't aware that the newer ones were sypertex.

The army bivvy bags: There seem to be different sorts, some with a zip and some without; is that right? Not surprisingly the cheapest have no zip; are they good ones to go for? Thanks.
