Bison Bushcraft forester shirt

So I took the plunge and bought a Bison Bushcraft guide shirt, but it arrived today and it was way too large (despite ordering my usual size) and, to be honest, the style didn't really suit me. So I'm thinking of ordering the forester shirt in a size down from normal. Does anyone have the shirt? Can you post some pics (there aren't many on their website)? Thanks!

What size did you get & what size chest are you ?. Most folks seem to want them big so they can layer up underneath it, but I prefer to wear them as a shirt, with just a base layer.

I'm 40" chest and got a medium, but it was pretty large in my opinion!

I found that the medium fitted me fine as a 44",so yep to big for you. Are they going to swop it ?

Well at least you've been dealing with a reputable company, & you are not out of pocket. Good luck searching for what you want. Swanni's are a bit thinner so you can tuck them in your trousers which alters the look, & if they come up a bit big you can shrink them to the right size, I did this to mine, & not by accident on purpose !.

That's a shame. I reckon that they're great bits of kit: really well made and beautifully thought out. It might be worth waiting for one in a suitable size... That said, you might find exactly what you're after somewhere else. Good luck with your search!

I know of a Woolen Mill in West Wales (attached to the National Wool Museum) who not only weave the wool but will make up shirts (they have their own patterns but made mine up to my pattern. I had to wait a while for the wool fabric I wanted to be woven and finished but I got exactly what I wanted...article here

Check out the roll of fabric in the background - a great pattern - but a custom design not available to the public..
