It was my birthday on tuesday and i got two ray mears books that are signed, a raymears dvd and a flixicut knife.

does anyone know basic things to make with the knife. also the knife did not come with a sheath, does anyone know how to make one that is not leather?

exactly what i was about to say.

for a little flexcut knife i'd find a bit of timber and use the knife to make itself a scandi style sheath, there's something wonderfully satisfying about it. i'd use leather for the sheath too but i see no reason at why a synthetic material wouldn't work, i've always fancied having a bash with neoprene, it should work perfectly imho.
