Birch bowl my first

This will be an ongoing thread as usual for me LOL
Started work on my first bowl yeah said I had pulled a muscle but arm felt pretty good today though I didn't push it to much did maybe an hours work on this. Other half of the birch kuksa

Almost done now the fun part of sanding waiting for it to fully dry to before I can oil it

Can i ask how you held this the hollow out the inside & what did you use to do it. Looking good BTW

Yep just used a Mora 163 http://www.bensbackwoods.com/servlet/Detail?no=92 for the majority of the inner bowl work. Holding it is usually against my chest I do my work handheld. outer work was done with a Fulton carving hatchet pictured then just minor clean up work mostly with my opi 7 this time
