I have been in Wisconsin USA for the last three weeks working with my friend Jarrod Stone Dahl building a birch bark canoe. It's been on my bucket list since seeing the incredible film Caesar's bark canoe nearly twenty years ago.I have limited computer and wifi access here but have done a few blog posts and will put up more when home showing the process but we put the ribs in today an have just a bit of finishing off to do tomorrow then off for a paddle, here is what is is looking like tonight.

Love birch bark canoes there are some stunning craftsmanship behind them and they surely look amazingly unique.
