Binos £40 budget

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a pair of binos for around a £40 budget for my little brother for Christmas.

I have a pair of Bushnells which I'm very pleased with but they were a lot more. After looking around the internet a while there seems to be HUNDREDS of different types, forms, sizes and it seems you can spend literally thousands on optics if you want.

So are there any pairs that are held in particularly high esteem by anyone here?

I've had had a pair of the 6x18s for about 5yrs - excellent for what they are, great for slipping into a pocket. Friends have had the Wetland range and are very pleased with them. Depending on your brothers age (thinking of size of hands) the WP2, LX or CXV might be ok? The 10yr guarantee is good too.
