Ian made me this a year or two ago but it's not been cold enough to wear it out much. Any way I've been off up to the allotment this morning to do the chickens with Tara (The Dog). So here are the pics. It's made of cotton canvas on the outside, coated in Fabsil so although not water proof it is definitely shower proof and wind proof! The inside is lined with a baby blue wool blanket, a little itchy but very warm. The back is longer than the front to stop my kidneys getting cold when I bend over. It has YKK zips on either side so I can get some ventilation if needed, also a "V" neck and a lined hood with draw cords. I asked for extra long sleeves so when not wearing gloves I can cover my hands to keep my danny's warm. Last thing it has a large "Kangaroo" type pocket at the front and two small button down chest pockets.
To say I'm very happy with it would be an understatement. Please don't ask me how much I paid for it as I can't remember. If you want one ask Ian (Bilmo). My only drawback to the purchase is I didn't know about ventile cotton. I think once I've worn this out in a good few years I get him to make me another one in that!
