Bought this a few weeks ago for £4.

Need to source/ make a new handle.

An hour or so and it's getting better... thought I'd taken a pic of progress so far but lights a bit poor now!!
Just goes to show good metal is good metal regardless of a bit of surface rust....

I do like a nice billhook. A much overlooked and under-rated piece of kit for the outdoorsman. You're doing a great job there.

Yes pretty pleased with it apart from the handle. I'm glad you put up a picture Hugh as I wasn't sure if there was originally a hook on it !! The tips very blunt so I'll work on it a bit more ☺
