Beware the Bratwurst

As folk prepare for the annual xmas pudding hunt a word of caution, watch out for the Bratwurst!
Lidl have been stacking the shelves with a version of this popular sausage laced with chilli.
So don't just grab them, check the label or you could be in for a surprise.

It's a PITA to buy bratwurst here. At least half a dozen differences of opinion for content. Read the fine print on every package, they are deceptive. One has grated cheddar and they are a hell of a mess to cook when that melts. We have the chili-dog brats, spicy heat just for heat is juvenile. One brand, Grimm's I think, makes a smokey brat with a sprinkle of jalapeno. That one is worth a bulk buy.

I specifically go there for those! Aldi used to do a chilli bratwurst but they stopped selling them. Just had a cold one for breakfast nom nom!

Just been down to Lidl for chilli bratwursts and saw that they had leffe brune for £2.50 for the big bottle, grabbed a couple, well it'd be rude not too!
