Best side pouch for LK35?

Hi All.

I'd like to fit side pouches to the side of my LK35.

Initially, I'd thought to attach zips to the sides of main pack to be able to zip on and off PLCE side pouches.
But now that I have the bits and pieces, I'm wondering if PLCE pouches are too wide to fit on the side of the pack?

Has anyone done a similar mod?

I wanted to avoid the Swedish army side pouches as they're a bit on the small side, and I haven't figured out which pouches MCQ Mike ended up going with.

Any pointers much appreciated.

Don’t know if it’s any help, but in the past I’ve sewn 2 MOLLE panels onto the sides, which give you a few more options with regards what you can attach. I found that 2 Viper Stuffa pouches give you plenty of space for water bottles etc.

That young chap in Cannock JourneyMan Bushcraft he makes pouches specifically for this job and from what I’ve seen of his stuff it’s very nice quality
