I have been popping in and out of this forum for quite a while and learnt quite a bit from the information in the threads.
I have a small wood near Bridgnorth, Shropshire which has a spring and small river. It is 38 acres with approx 50/50 conifer and deciduous and another 12 acres grass. I spend a fair bit of time there as there is always plenty to do, I am hoping to do a charcoal burn this year, I bought a burner last year but not had time as yet.
I work with trees for a living and run a small company from Wolverhampton with 9 employees www.wolvestrees.co.uk
I started my business in 1985 after working in the building trade and doing landscape gardening from leaving school in 1971 but drifted more into tree work and that is what pays the bills now.
One wife, three kids, five grandkids and loads of dogs and chickens.
My passion is for Land Rovers and we (two sons) spend a lot of time competing in winch challenge events up and down the country.
