Morning all,

Can anyone recommend a good supplier of foraging courses - trees, plants, fungi. Really want someone very knowledgeable running the course that can not only show what is edible and what they look like but also best way to prep and perhaps most importantly list any potential confusions with similar poisonous varieties.

Also, would like a provider that runs courses all year round so I could go back to same person for Spring, Summer, Autumn as almost all change throughout the year and it would be hood to get a better understanding of those changes.

Preference would be courses running in South Wales but happy to travel if they come highly recommended.

In many ways you're better to try different people for different things. alot of folk end up specialising in edible plants or medicinal plants or fungi etc.
We used fred at wild side of life for fungi. He offers a secret sunday mushroom club is brilliant and is held over the entire mushroom season in various locations. For plants, my better half is currently doing Paul Kirtleys Tree and plant identifaction masterclass online (i believe he has actually opened the course for and 2nd intake due to the current situation). It's very in depth and interesting. I've been dipping in every now and then and was surprised by the amount of content.
I've found using different folks helps to gain a different insight in how things are used.
Another recommendation is Robin Harford and his eatweeds course.
Be warned, this is a very slippery slope you are embarking on, it will take over your life ;) .
