Evening all, just been out for a test-stomp with my new bergen to try it out for comfort over a few miles up and down hills. It was quite comfy, I'm very happy with it.

Stopped off at the end for some home made broth :)

You can't see it in this photo but the sweat was literally dripping off me as I had my bergen well loaded and had done about three miles all up and down steep hills.

Who's that handsome fellow ?

Made this simple modification to my hatchet a while ago, Just tennis racket tape, today was the first time I've used it since.

Nice Bergan; have you got a system for keeping things available in it yet that suits you?
I have found with my Bergan it has taken a while and loads of trial and error but we are slowly forming a good relationship;I never did get on with the side pouches and now consider them redundant tbh
the tennis racket tape; I might just try that on my little hawk I bought in Portugal
