Bears ultimate survival alternative?

So I am wanting a new knife. The BG ultimate survival knife fits the bill but is has orange and BG on it soooo

Any one suggest me a similar alternative in the same price range (plane edge)?

Darn it - just saw your link to Skippys list again - laughed aloud for 10 mins - again ....
As to the knives .... one of the standard Gerbers would be as close as you can get to an un desecrated BG knife as is possible - if you like Gerbers...and can find the plain edged version....
Better off with a Mora in my opinion!

How about speaking to hillbill and have a blade made up to your own specs then handle it yourself.
I'm sure you'd get something that'll outlast a Gerber.

Both seems less than $50 state-side. But of shame they dont do the SCHF3N in 1095 though.
