BCUK IRC/Chatroom?

Does one exist? would there be any interest if one was set-up? I notice that a lot of people visit BCUK and talk, well post, but would it be better if we could talk in real-time as well as post?

Just a random thought, doesn't have to be IRC, could set up a Skype room or something?

We had one years ago. It got abused by members so we pulled it and worn out the ban button. As far as I know there are no plans to re-instate such chatroom (or the like).

Skype is easy enough to use between members if they wish to do so.
