Hello peeps,
One for the torch fiends out there...I have an ancient Tekna micro-lite torch bought in the late 80s, same kinda time I was using a Petzl Zoom.
I lost track of which odd-size battery(s) it took....and it just got sidelined.
I want to buy an MN21 for a multimeter from a specialist vendor rather than Amazon, so am trying to justify the postage with additional items they may stock.
I'm sure it's a lost cause. I should have thrown it out years ago...
Anyone a clue which batteries it takes?

EDIT! Doh! Just searched online and came up with the answer!

Not 2no N/LR1 Battery ? still available

Alkaline replacement battery (3 V) for the TEKNA® Micro-Lite and Micro-Lith* as well as Tektite® Mark-Lite® Fire Fly™. (Replaces 2 N-size alkaline batteries)

Two N size with a heat shrink tube should work. The heat shrink should increase the diameter to fit the battery tube and prevent rattling.

In-Genius, Rich! Thanks also stonepark. It looks like the firm wont sell less than £134worth to Uk based on their site blurb and the fact I couldnt get a shipping quite out of them. 2xN seems a lots less money to scratch the itch.....although now I want the LED upgrade, too...... (forehead slap)!!!

Wouldnt be hard to solder a 3v LED into place on such a simple light. I see these BudgetLightForum guys buying torches and finicking their desired emitters and lenses into the host body all the time.

Is it the screw in ones pictured below the battery on the Teklite website? I reckon you could even find something ready made. There's all sorts about...
