Barn Find !!

A very good friend of mine found this in a barn last week where it has sat for 40 years.

To say I am slightly jealous is an understatement !!

Blimey! That rolls back the years.. There's people that would kill just for the Vincent frame alone..

Now I feel very old! Back in the day, I used to have a black shadow - having swapped my 750 Commando for it! There was also the inevitable stream of classics before that, bonnevilles, goldies and all sorts. That Norvin was always considered to be the best option, great handling from the featherbed frame and effortless power from whichever flavour Vincent that is.

That is the best barn find you'll ever hear about, from here, everything else is downhill!

It's a NORVIN, a Norton frame with a Vincent engine shoe-horned in.

Always lusted after things like that, but could never afford it so went a slightly different track but kept with V twins.

that's some find, brilliant, takes me back I used to ride a 750 Norton fastback in the 80s.
